presented to the Supreme Court of Hong Kong on the 27th day of October 1939 for confirming the reduction of the capital of the above mentioned Company from £1,750,000 to £875,000 is directed to be heard before His Honour the Chief Justice on the 30th day of November 1939, at 10 a.mn. Any creditor or shareholder of the Company desiring to oppose the making of an order for the reduction of ¦ the capital of the said Company under the above Ordinance should appear at the time of hearing by himself or his Counsel for that purpose.

Transfer of Businesses Ordinance No. 25 of 1923, Notice is hereby given that Thomson & Co. of Hongkong and Shanghai Bank Build- ing Victoria in the Colony of Hong Kong, the Liquidators of Messrs. Habade formerly of French Bank Building Victoria aforesaid (hereinafter called "the Transferors") have entered into an Agreement for the sale of the provision business of Messrs. Habade to Acme Union Co. of Marina House Victoria aforesaid (hereinafter called "the Transferees").
The Transferees intend to carry on the busi- ness at French Bank Building aforesaid, and will not assume any of the liabilities incurred in the business by the Transferors or Messrs. Habade.

The Transferees intend to carry on the said business at the said premises under the same. styles or firm names or such other name as they may hereafter decide and will not assume any debts or liabilities incurred by the Transferors in connection with the said business.
