FRENCH INDO-CHINA TERRITORIAL WATERS.

DANGEROUS AREAS AFFECTING NAVIGATIONS.

(1) The navigation is dangerous on the approaches of Cape St. Jacques and in the open sea of the mouth Soirap of Mekong and of Bassak (Hau-Kiang) up to a distance of 7 miles from the coast. The vessels on arriving at Cape St. Jacques have to present themselves on a line of the entrance within the limit of the territorial waters and follow- ing next along this line until the moment they receive the instructions of the Examina- tion Vessel or Pilot Vessel.

(2) The navigation is dangerous on the approach of the Kamranh Bay to the west of the line joining the Kamranh Point and Davaich Head (False Varella). The vessels intending to proceed into Kamranh Bay have to make a course of 270° towards the Hon Chut Lighthouse until observing the Vigie Lighthouse (Mui-Hon-Lan) in a bearing of 345°. At this point they have to make a course of 345° towards the Vigie Lighthouse (Mui-Hon-Lan) until coming into a distince of 1 mile from that Lighthouse, then attend- ing at this point for the order of the Examination Post installed at the Vigie.

(3) The navigation is dangerous in the passage of Kua-Be and Kua-Lon which are leading to the Port Dayot.

APPROACHES TO SINGAPORE.

The following lights will be relit as soon as possible without further notice. Lima Island, No. 6 Beacon, No. 1 Beacon Sultan Shoal St. John's Island (PULO SAKI JANG PALIPAH) Raffles Island. Any of these lights are liable to be extinguished without notice.
