WARNING TO NAVIGATORS.

1. Navigation is dangerous in the vicinity of the light at Hon-Dau, and off Kua- Nam-Trieu North of the Norway Island parallel and West of the Norways meridian.

Ships proceeding to Haiphong, Port Redon, must report for instructions from the pilot vessel at a position 3 miles bearing 135 from Hon-Dau lighthouse and follow the pilot's instructions.

2. Navigation is dangerous in all the channels of the Bay d'Along from Fai-Tsi- Long to Port Wallut.

Ships proceeding to Hongay, Campha Port, Wallut, must report or anchor one mile to the south of Orange Islet and follow from the pilot vessel or pilot.

SINGAPORE.-JOHORE STRAIT.

Buoys established-Lights and light buoy to be extinguished.

(1) Date-9th October, 1939.

Details-Buoys have been established in the following positions

(a) A can buoy, red and white chequers, exhibiting a flashing red light every one-and-a-half seconds in a position 221 degrees 1668 yards from the south western point of Pulo Sejahat. (b) A green conical buoy exhibiting a green light, group flashing (three) every sixteen seconds in a position 221 degrees 1427 yards from the south western point of Pulo Sejahat.

Remarks-Vessels arriving at or leaving the Naval Base are to pass between

these buoys.

(2) Date-On or about 20th October, 1939.

Details-The following lights and light buoy will be extinguished:-

(a) Punggol Beacon (Lat. 1° 25' N., Long. 103° 54' E.). (b) Tebrau Rear Beacon (Lat. 1° 29′ N., Long. 103° 471⁄2 E.). (c) Squance Buoy (Lat. 1° 23' N., Long: 103° 58' E.).
