No. S. 549.- It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which ́ should be clearly marked "Tender for providing and fixing Boundary Stones to lots and Boundary Posts to quarries, etc. and the fixing of Bench Marks and Picket Boxes", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 6th day of November, 1939, for providing and fixing Boundary Stones to lots and Boundary Posts to quarries, etc. and the fixing of Bench Marks and Picket Boxes in the Colony of Ilong Kong, Kowloon and New Kowloon and the New Territories during the year 1940.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $250 with the Accountant-General.
Any tenderer may be required as a condition of the consideration or acceptance of his tender to supply full particulars of the constitution of his firm.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. S. 550.--It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should. be clearly marked "Tender for Chinese Cemeteries", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 6th day of November, 1939, for the supply of labour and material for Chinese Cemeteries in Hong Kong. Kowloon and New Kowloon during the year 1940.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $500 with the Accountant-General.
Any tenderer may be required as a condition of the consideration or acceptance of his tender to supply full particulars of the constitution of his firm.
