21. The Widows' and Orphans' Pension Ordinance, 1908. (No. 15 of 1908), -contd.
20. If the widow of an officer marries Provision again she shall cease to receive a pension for case of from the date of remarriage; and the widow
marrying. children of such widow and officer shall thereupon be entitled to pension as if both their parents were dead."
(13) Section 21 is amended by the substitu-
tion-
(i) of the words whose marriage has been dissolved by a divorce which would be recognized as valid by for the words against whom any officer has obtained a divorce in in the first and second lines;
(ii) of the words the more for the word most in the last line.
(14) Section 22-the following two sub-sections are substituted for sub-sections (1) and (2)-
(1) When an officer dies leaving a widow and children, the issue of a previous marriage existing when he became a con- tributor or contracted after he became a contributor, such children shall be entitled each to a share or portion of one-half of the pension to which their mother, if she had survived their father, would have been entitled, such share or portion being cal- culated in accordance with the provisions of section 19.
(2) The widow of such officer shall be entitled to one-half of the pension to which she would have been entitled if there had been no such children; and when such children cease to be entitled to pension, then she shall be entitled to the whole of the pension which she would have received if there had been no such children.
(15) Section 23 is amended by the repeal of the words and the children of a widower who has contributed and has died prior to the commencement of this Ordinance, shall be entitled from the commencement of this Ordinance, in the second, third, fourth and fifth lines.
(16) Section 26 is amended by the repeal of the figure (1)" at the beginning of sub-section (1) and the repeal of sub-section (2).
(17) Section 32 is renumbered as section 31
and amended-

(i) by the repeal of the words and figures before the 1st day of January, 1912, or unless in the fourth line:
(ii) by the substitution of the word "has" for the words "shall have in the sixth line;

(iii) by the substitution of the words Accountant-General for the word in the sixth and the last
'Treasurer lines.
