NOTICE OF FIRING PRACTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
DEFENCES (FIRING AREAS) ORDINANCE, 1936.
1. Light gun firing practice will be carried out between the hours of 6.00 a.m. and 12 midnight on 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th August, 1939.
Firing Area "E" will be affected.
2. Firing practice will be carried out between the hours of 8.00 a.m. and 4 p.m. on 10th August, 1939.
Firing Area "C" will be affected.
Alternative dates-11th and 12th August, 1939.
3. In accordance with sub-section 4 of section 4 of the Defences (Firing Areas) Ordinance, 1936, masters of vessels and pilots of aircraft exempt from the operation of this Ordinance under section 10, are warned to assist in the carrying out of the firing practice by hastening through the firing area affected, or by consenting to be towed out of the firing area, if necessary, by any vessel acting under the orders of the Military Authorities.

laid as follows:-

(1) Namkwan Harbour Lat. 27° 10' N., Long. 120° 25′ E.
Off the entrance to Namkwan Harbour extending as far as Ping Fong
Island.
(2) Santu Inlet Lat. 26° 30′ N., Long, 119° 50′ E.
In the vicinity of a line running from Chown Point to South Point at entrance to Loyuan Bay, also including Loyuan Bay and inside of Santu Inlet.
(3) Hunghwa Sound Lat. 25° 20′ N., Long. 119° 25′ E.
In the vicinity of a line running across the eastern part of Singhwa Channel (Hunghwa Channel) down to and accross the Southern part of Lamyit Channel.
(4) Swabue Lat. 22° 45' N., Long. 115° 22' E.
In the vicinity of Swabue Head.
