No. 1207. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under instructions from the Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies, to appoint Mr. HENRY JOSEPH PEARCE, M.C., M. Inst. Struct. E., L.R.I.B.A., to be an Assistant Director of Public Works, with effect from 28th September, 1939.

No. 1208. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under instructions from the Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies, to appoint Mr. CECIL WILLIAM EDWIN BISHOP, B.Sc. (Eng.) London, A.M.Inst. C.E., Chartered Civil Engineer, M. Inst. W.E., to be an Executive Engineer, with effect from 28th September, 1939.

No. 1209.-The Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies has been pleased to approve the appointment of NICOL CAMPBELL MACLEOD, M.B., Ch.B. (Glas.), D.P.H., Certif. Loud. Sch. Hyg. and Trop. Med., to be Deputy Director of Health Services, with effect from 13th November, 1939, inclusive.
Dr. NICOL CAMPBELL. MACLEOD arrived in the Colony on 21st December, 1939, and assumed duty on 22nd December, 1939.
