of that Order), there shall be substituted a reference to a mariner and a member of the pilotage or light vessel services, and for any such reference as aforesaid in the Naval Order to a woman member of the Naval Forces there shall be sub- stituted a reference to a mariner of the female sex and a member of the pilotage or light vessel services of the female
sex;
(b) any reference in the Naval Order to a disability, wound, injury or disease (whether as attributable to anything or not) shall, in relation to a mariner or a member of the pilotage or light vessel services, be construed as a reference to a war injury sustained by him and to a wound, injury or disease directly attributable to his detention;
(c) any reference (by whatever form of words) in the Naval Order to disablement shall, in relation to a mariner or a member of the pilotage or light vessel services, be construed as a reference to the disablement of that mariner or member which is directly attributable to a war injury sustained by him or to his detention;
(d) any reference in the Naval Order to disability retired pay shall be construed as a reference to disability pension;
(e) for any requirement in the Naval Order that the death of any person shall be certified to be due to or materially hastened by any cause there shall, in relation to a mariner or member of the pilotage or light vessel services, be substituted a requirement that the death of that mariner or member shall be certified to be directly attributable to a war injury sustained by him or to his detention;
(f) any reference in the Naval Order to a person having died in the circumstances set forth in a particular Article of the Naval Order which contains any such requirement as is mentioned in paragraph (e) of this Article shall, in relation to a mariner or a member of the pilotage or light vessel services, be construed as a reference to the death of that mariner or member which is directly attributable to a war injury sustained by him or to his detention;
(g) any reference (by whatever form of words) in the Naval Order to the commencement or termination of service, or war service, of any person, or to the removal from duty of any person, shall be treated as omitted from the Naval Order:
Provided that for any reference in the Naval Order to the date on which the war service of a woman member of the Naval Forces commenced, there shall, in relation to mariners and members of the pilotage and light vessel services of the female sex, be substituted--
(i) in the case of such mariners or members who were employed or engaged as mariners or members on the 3rd September, 1939, that date,
(ii) in the case of such mariners and members who were not so employed or engaged on that date, the date on which they were first so employed or engaged after that date;
(h) the expression "widow" in the Naval Order shall, in relation to a mariner or a member of the pilotage or light vessel services, mean a widow of that mariner or member, other than a widow who was separated from him at the date of his death, or whose marriage to him took place after the date on which he sustained a war injury to which
