APPOINTMENTS, &c.

No. 1094-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under section 9 (3) of the Liquors Ordinance, 1931, and section 25 (4) of the Interpretation Ordinance, 1931, to appoint the Honourable the Colonial Secretary to be Chairman of the Licensing Board for a further period of three years, with effect from 26th November, 1939.

No. 1095.-His Excellency the Governor, under instructions from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, has been pleased to recognize Mr. HARRY A. KELLER provisionally and pending the issue of His Majesty's Exequatur, as Honorary Consul for Switzerland at Hong Kong.
