No. 865.- His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under instructions from the Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies, to appoint Mr. ALEXANDER BRUCE PURVES, M. Inst. C.E., to be Director of Public Works, with effect from the 28th September, 1939.

With reference to Government Notification No. 470 dated 7th June, 1939, His Majesty the King has been pleased to approve the appointment of the Honourable Dr. PERCY SELWYN SELWYN-CLARKE, M.C., M.D. (Lond.), B.S. (Lond.), F.R.C.P. (Lond.), M R.C.S. (Eng.), D.P.H. (Camb.), D.T.M. & H. (Lond.), Barrister-at- Law, Gray's Inn, to be an Official Member of the Executive Council, with effect from 28th September, 1939.
