ORDINANCE No. 21 of 1982.

(PENSIONS).

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 (1) of the Pensions Ordinance, 1932, as enacted by the Pensions Amendment Ordinance, 1931, and with the sanction of the Secretary of State, the Governor in Council amends Pension Regulations C, set forth in Government Notification No. 761, published in the Gazette of the 12th October, 1934, as appears hereunder.

Amendment.

The following paragraph is added at the end of sub- section (1) of regulation 5 in Pension Regulations C after paragraph (b) thereof:-

For the purposes of paragraph (b) a person's service. shall be deemed to be terminated by his death if he dies as a result of a continuous illness incapacitating him from work from the last day on which he drew pay, provided that he has actually completed ten years' unbroken service before ceasing to draw pay.
