No. 763.-It is hereby notified that Government Notification No. 263, published in the Gazette of the 6th April, 1939, is cancelled with effect from 3rd September, 1939, and the following substituted therefor :-
His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. CYRIL CHAMPKIN
to be Chief Air Raid Warden for the Island of Hong Kong.

No. 765.-Ilis Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under instructions from the Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies, to appoint Mr. TREVOR VICTOR NORMAN FORTESCUE to be a Cadet Officer, on probation, with effect from 5th September, 1939.
