PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by regulation 26 of the Regulations of the Hong Kong Naval Volunteer Force it is enacted that (without prejudice to any powers that may be exercised by His Majesty or by His Majesty in Council or by the Governor or by the Governor in Council) the Governor may, in case of great national or local emergency or in case of actual or apprehended invasion of or attack on the Colony, or in case of serious local disturbance or in case it may be desirable to take precautions against the possibility of serious local disturbance, by pro- clamation call out the Hong Kong Naval Volunteer Force or any portion or members thereof for actual service:
