Trading with the enemy.

(ORDINANCE No. 25 of 1914 IN VOLUME OF THE 1937 EDITION.)

The public are hereby warned that by performing any obligation to or discharging any obligation of an enemy, whether the obligation was undertaken before or after the commencement of the war, they may render themselves liable to the penalties imposed by section 7 of the Trading with the

Enemy Ordinance, 1914, namely-

on conviction on indictment, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven years and a fine; or

on summary conviction, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding twelve months and a line not exceeding ten thousand dollars.

Alien Enemies (Winding up).

1937 EDITION.)

Any person who is in doubt as to how he should act in commexion with the property of any alien enemy of which he may be in charge should communicate with the police.
