(d) by the repeal of the word con- tained in the second line of para- graph (c);
(iii) sub-section (2), as renumbered, is further amended by the substitution of the words referred to in this section for
herein referred to in the first line;

(iv) the following sub-section is added—-
1909.
(3) Notwithstanding anything in the Trade Marks Ordinance, 1909, or in
Ordinance any rules made thereunder, no such trade mark No. 40 of as is referred to in this section shall be liable to removal from the register of trade marks for non-payment of the fee for renewal of registration thereof except by order of the Governor: but no omission on the part of the Registrar of Trade Marks to send the notice prescribed by section 30 of that Ordinance nor the non-receipt by the registered proprietor of a trade mark of any such notice nor any omission on the part of the Registrar to advertise the fact of non-payment of the renewal fee shall be a bar to the removal from the register of any such trade mark of which the registration has expired and has not been renewed: and any such trade mark may be removed from the register upon or after the expiration of the period for which it was registered."

(18) Section 26. as renumbered, is further amended by the repeal of the words and figures whether such act or omission bas occurred before the 30th day of March. 1917, or may occur after the 29th day of March, 1917." at the end.
(19) Section 27. as renumbered. is further
amended by the substitution---
(i) of the word "apply for be in force in the first and second lines;
(ii) of the word "has" for "shall have" in the sixth line.
(20) Section 30. as renumbered, is further
amended-
(i) by the repeal of the word con- tained in the first line;
(ii) by the substitution of the word remains for shall remain" in the penultimate line.
(21) Forms Nos. 1 and 2 in the Schedule are
amended----
(i) by the repeal of the word "Victoria" at the end of the twelfth line:
