(14) Section 17—(i) in sub-section (1)—

(a) the words "commencement of the war" are substituted for 9th day of September, 1915" in the fifth and the sixth and seventh lines;

(b) the words "two thousand” and “one thousand" are substituted for "one thou- sand” and “five hundred in the thir teenth and fifteenth lines respectively;

(ii) in sub-section (2)--

(a) the words 'commencement of the War are substituted for "9th day of September, 1915" in the fourth and fifth and the thirteenth lines;

(b) the words "person" and "he" are substituted for "company or partner" and "the company" in the sixteenth and seventeenth lines respectively;

(e) the words "two thousand dollars and to imprisonment for any term not exceed- ing six months and in addition to a further fine not exceeding one thousand dollars for every day during which the default con- tinues" are substituted for all the words in the last eight lines after the word “exceeding";

(iii) in sub-section (3)—

(a) the figures "16 (4)" are substituted for "8 (7)" in the third line:
