An Ordinance to amend the Volunteer Ordinance, 1933.
[28th July, 1939.]
Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Volunteer Amend- ment Ordinance, 1939.

2. Section 7 of the Volunteer Ordinance, 1933, is amended by the substitution of the words may be held" for the words shall be held" in the first line.
3. Sub-section (6) of section 16 of the Volunteer Ordin- ance, 1933, is amended by the substitution of the date "1st day of April" for the date "16th day of April" in the last line.
