relating to the registration of persons.

No. 470.- His Majesty the KING has been pleased to confirm the provisional appointment of the Honourable Dr. PERCY SELWYN SELWYN-CLARKE, M.C., M.D. (Lond.), B.S. (Lond.), F.R.C.P. (Lond.), M.R.C.S. (Eng.), D.P.H. (Camb.), D.T.M. & H. (Lond.), Barrister-at-Law, Gray's Inn, to be a Member of the Executive Council of Hong Kong in the absence of Mr. RICHARD MCNEIL HENDERSON, M. Inst. C.E., M.I. Mech. E., with effect from the 6th April, 1939.

No. 471.-The Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies has been pleased to approve the appointment of Miss ETHEL ELIZABETH CHART to be Nursing Sister, with effect from 2nd April, 1939, inclusive.
Miss ETHEL ELIZABETH CHART arrived in the Colony on the 24th of May, 1939.
