ORDINANCE No. 37 of 1932. (POLICE FORCE).

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 (1) of the Police Force Ordinance, 1932, the Governor in Council further amends the Police Pensions Regulations set forth in Government Notification No. 688 published in the Gazette of the 20th October, 1933, as follows:-

Amendments.

(1) Regulation 20 is rescinded and the following regula- tion substituted :-

20. An officer who retires on account of infirmity of mind or body and who has not completed the minimum period of service in the Police Force qualifying for a pension, may be granted a gratuity at a rate not exceeding 1/120th of his salary for each completed month of service.

(2) Regulation 32 is rescinded and the following regula- tion substituted :-

32. An officer who retires on account of infirmity of mind or body and who has not completed the minimum period of service in the Police Force qualifying for a pension, may be granted a gratuity at a rate not exceeding 1/144th of his salary for each completed month of service.
