THE MERCHANT SHIPPING (EXPIRATION OF ENACTMENT)
ORDER, 1939.
AT THE COURT AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE,
THE 30TH DAY OF MARCH, 1939.
PRESENT,
THE KING'S MOST EXCELLENT MAJESTY IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it is provided by sub-section (6) of section four of the Merchant Shipping (Spanish Frontiers Obser- vation) Act, 1937, that that Act shall continue in force until His Majesty by Order in Council is pleased to declare that it is no longer necessary or expedient that it should continue
in force:
AND WHEREAS it is no longer necessary or expedient that the said Act should continue in force :
NOW, THEREFORE, His Majesty is pleased by and with the advice of His Privy Council to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:-
1. It is hereby declared that it is no longer necessary or expedient that the Merchant Shipping (Spanish Frontiers Observation) Act, 1937, should continue in force.
2. This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Expiration of Enactment) Order, 1939.
