ORDINANCE No. 10 of 1939. (MERCHANT SHIPPING).

By virtue and in evidence of the powers vested in him by Sections 10 (6) and (17), 37 (2) and 42 (1) of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, 1899, and of all other powers him enabling, the Governor in Council makes the following amendments to Regulation 17 of the regulations made under the said Ordinance contained in Table C on pages 269 to 348 of the Regulations of Hong Kong (1937 edition) :-

Amendments.

1. The heading to regulation 17 is amended by the substitution of a comma for the full stop after the word boilers" and by the addition to the heading after the comma of the words "shafting or other machinery parts".

2. After paragraph (e) of regulation 17 the following paragraph is added:-

(f) The fee for the consideration of designs of shafting or other machinery parts is one half of that specified for the survey of those items.

THE BUILDINGS ORDINANCE, 1935.

No. 400.-His Excellency the Governor in Council has been pleased to direct under section 5 of the Buildings Ordinance, 1935, Ordinance No. 18 of 1935, that the name of Mr. FAITFONE WONG be added to the List of Authorized Architects published in Government Notification No. 286 of the 1st April, 1938.
