T. MEGARRY,

Clerk of Councils.

COUNCIL CHAMBER,

22nd December, 1938.

NOTE-The fundamental change effected by these regulations consists in the exclusion from Part II of the Poisons List of all Part I poisons so that a listed seller will no longer be entitled to retail any Part I poison except where it forms a very small proportion by weight of a preparation or mixture. This saving provision enables a shopkeeper who is a listed seller to retail certain proprietary preparations in common use.

2. New provisions are also made in respect of the supply and storage of poisons in institutions,

3. There are also supplementary provisions with respect to labelling, con- tainers and transport of poisons.

4. Records of every import, purchase or sale of poisons by licenced wholesale dealers must hereafter be kept.

5. Attention is invited to the arrangement of these regulations as given at the beginning hereof.
