PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it is provided by Section 2 of the Lepers Ordinance, 1935, that it shall be lawful for the Governor in Council to appoint such places as he shall think fit to be leper settlements for the segregation and treatment of lepers; and every such settlement shall comprise such area Governor shall define by proclamation:

AND WHEREAS the Governor in Council has appointed the place known as the Tung Wah Infectious Diseases Hospital at Kennedy Town to be a leper settlement:
AND WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the 19th day of July, 1938, and published in the Hong Kong Government Gazette No. 36 of the 22nd day of July, 1938, it was pro- claimed that such settlement should comprise and it was thereby defined as comprising the area known as Inland Lot No. 1813.
AND WHEREAS it has been ascertained that part of the area intended to be appointed to be a leper settlement comprises also the area now known as Section A of Inland Lot No. 1082.
NOW THEREFORE I, Sir GEOFFRY ALEXANDER STAFFORD NORTHCOTE, Knight Commander of the Most Dis- tinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same, do hereby PROCLAIM that such settlement shall comprise also and it is hereby defined as comprising also the said area known as Section A of Inland Lot No. 1082, situated at Kennedy Town in this Colony and containing in the whole by admeasurement 5,212 square feet or thereabouts, as coloured pink on the plan annexed to a Supplementary Deed of Surrender thereof dated the twenty fifth day of April 1939 and registered in the Land Office by Memorial No. 161,861.
