ORDINANCE No. 28 of 1917. (FERRIES).

In exercise of the powers eonferred by Section 5 of the Ferries Ordinance, 1917, the exclusion from the operation of that Ordinance of the ferry of Li Yung-pan between Sai Kung and Nam Tau Sha (a point to the North of Clear Water Bay) referred to in Government Notification No. 441 of 1933, is rescinded, such ferry having been discontinued.

No. 316.--His Excellency the Governor has approved the relinquishment by Lieutenant GUILDFORD CHARLES DUDLEY (List II) of his Commission in the Hong Kong Naval Volunteer Force, as from 13th April, 1939.

No. 317.-His Excellency the Governor, in accordance with instructions received from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, has been pleased to recognize Mr. CEDRIC BLAKER provisionally and pending the issue of His Majesty's Exequatur as Honorary Consul of Sweden at Hong Kong.
