ORDINANCE No. 6 of 1901. (RATING).

It is hereby ordered that a valuation of the tenements in Hong Kong, Aplichau, Kowloon and New Kowloon for the year commencing 1st July, 1939, shall be made before the 30th day of April, 1939, or as soon thereafter as may be.

Regulations made by the Governor in Council under section 4 of the Stamp Ordinance, No. 8 of 1921, this sixth day of January, 1939.

(i) Regulations made on the 16th day of September, 1925, and published in the Gazette of the 25th September, 1925, by Government Notification No. 525 as amended by Government Notification No. 324 published in the Gazette of the 22nd May, 1931, are amended by the insertion next after section 6 of the following section:-

6A. The Collector may, if he thinks fit, stamp with an impressed and dated receipt stamp printed forms of receipts bound and serially numbered and showing thereon the address of the maker.

(ii) The provisions of the Schedule to the Stamp Ordin- ance, 1921, are amended by the addition in Column 3 of Head 36 of the words "or impressed and dated'' after the word "Adhesive",
