1. A means of access to the present concrete path leading to Kowloon East Battery to be provided and formed at the cost of the purchaser on such lines and at such gra- dients as the conformation of the land will permit, the work to be carried out to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works.

2. The purchaser of the lots will also have to pay the following sums, viz.:-

(a.) The cost of compensating the Tai Wan Villagers. The removal of such villagers to be carried out by Government and the amount of compensa- tion to be assessed by the Director of Public Works.

(6.) The sum of $1,000 towards the cost of constructing an outfall drain. (c.) The sum of $6.25 for each boundary stone required to define the lots. (d.) The sum of $30 for each Crown Lease.

No. S. 316. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for metalling and tarring Castle Peak Road between Fanling and Un Long", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 26th day of November, 1918.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. S. 317. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Lugard Road Extension", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 3rd day of December, 1918, for the extension of Lugard Road to Harlech Road (High West Gap).

No work will be permitted on Sundays.
