Southern Entrance Opened; Light Established; Caution, Northern Entrance Buoys Moved.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Southern Entrance to the Inner Harbour (under construction) in Chefoo Harbour is now open to navigation. A white Light, occulting every 3 seconds, thus-

is exhibited from an iron trestle structure situated on the southern end of the Breakwater (under construction). This Light, which is elevated 28 feet above sea level, marks the northern side of the Southern Entrance to the Inner Harbour. This entrance is primarily intended for the use of inward-bound vessels, but outward bound vessels may use it if it is seen that no inward-bound vessel is approaching.
