Chinwangtao Light Permanently Discontinued.
Arrangement for Lighting the Approach to the Port of Chinwangtao.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Chinwangtao Light exhibited on the south-western extremity of the bluff at Chinwangtao, Gulf of Liaotung, has been permanently discon- timed.
By arrangement, the Kailan Mining Administration are exhibiting their harbour lights from sunset to sunrise to serve as an aid to navigation for the approach to the port of Chinwangtao.

Min River Middle Ground.
NOTICE is hereby given that a new channel has been opened to the Southward of the Middle Ground, and that a 6-foot truncated cone Buoy painted red has been placed in order to mark the southern extremity of the Middle Ground in 9 feet at Low Water of spring tides.
From the buoy the highest part (centre) of Pass Island is in line with Oriental Rock and distant from the beacon 6 cables.
