It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for the supply of Police Reserve Summer Uniform", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 25th January, 1918, for the supply of the undermentioned Summer Uniform, which is to be completed by the 15th March, for the Hongkong Police Reserve, viz.:-

More or less-480 Drill Uniform Suits.

No tender will be received unless the person tendering produces a receipt to the effect that he has deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $100 as a pledge of the bona fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if such person fails or refuses to carry out his tender, should the tender be accepted.

Form of tender may be obtained at the Colonial Secretary's Office.

For further particulars apply at the Office of the Captain Superintendent of Police. No tender will be received unless written on the required form with pattern of drill enclosed.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
