1. ERIC WILLIAM HAMILTON, by virtue of the powers vested in me under the Defence Regulations, 1940, with the consent of His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government hereby prohibit the export, except by licence under my hand or under the hand of an officer of my depart ment on my behalf, of the following goods :-

Gunny bags, whether previously used or not.

Hessian cloth.

Sulphate of Ammonia.

No. 1306.-It is hereby notified that His Honour Sir Alasdair Duncan Atholl MacGregor, Chief Justice, has by Commission signed by him, and dated the 28th day of November, 1940, appointed WILLIAM HENRY GEORGE HIRST, Accountant of the Supreme Court, Hong Kong, to be a Commissioner to administer oaths and take declara- tions, affirmations and attestations of honour in the Court so long as he shall continue to act as such Accountant as aforesaid.
