I, the Controller of Trade. in exercise of the powers vested in me by regulation 50 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, with the consent of Ifis Excellency the Officer Adminis- tering the Government, hereby make the following order-

1. Every person who at the date of this order carries on any industrial or commercial enterprise and--

(a) owns or has any legal or beneficial interest in any cargo lying in any ship owned or controlled by any person who is an enemy or in any cargo which, having been landed from any such ship, is in the possession or control of the owner, charterer or master thereof; or

(b) has or claims to have any cause of action whether in respect of such cargo or otherwise against any such ship or against the owner, charterer or master thereof,

shall if requested by the Custodian of Enemy Property so to do produce to him or to a person specified in the request such books, accounts or other decuments relating to the undertaking or shall furnish to him such estimates, returns or information relating to the undertaking as may be mentioned or described in the request.

2. A request under this order may be notified generally. in the Gazette, or if made to a particular person may be served personally or by post.
