Now, I, the Officer Administering the Government, under the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Public Revenue Protection Ordinance, 1927, as interpreted by section 39A of the Interpretation Orglinance, 1911, do hereby make this Order giving full force and effect to the provisions of such resolution as from two o'clock p.m. on Thursday, the seventh day of November, 1910. for so long as this Order remains in force.

ORDINANCE No. 36 of 1931. (DUTIABLE
COMMODITIES).
Legislative Council Resolution.
RESOLVED, pursuant to section 4 of the Dutiable Com- modities Oyinance, 1931, that the Duties on Hydrocarbon Oils imposed by Resolution of this Council on the 25th July. 1940, published as Government Notification No. 841 in the Gazette No. 40 of the 26th July, 1940, be varied so that the duty on light oils shall be increased from 60 cents to 80 cents per gallon.
