No. 1196. His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased, under Section 3 (2) of the War Revenue Ordinance, 1940, to appoint Mr. HANS LOURENSZ to be an Assistant Commissioner, with effect from 25th October, 1940.

No. 1197.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased under the powers conferred by section 8 (1) of the Compulsory Service Ordinance, 1939, No. 32 of 1939, to appoint The Honourable Mr. ANDREW LUSK SHIELDS to be a member of the Appeal Tribunal during the temporary absence from the Colony of The Honourable Mr. STANLEY HUDSON DODWELL.
