down and keep a written note of the names and addresses of any passengers in his vehicle and of any witnesses of the. accident and produce such note for inspection when called upon to do so by any police officer or see that the conductor of his vehicle takes down, keeps and produces such note as aforesaid:
7. Regulation 48 (8) is rescinded and the following sub- stituted therefor :-
(8) in any case when, owing to the presence of his vehicle on the road, an accident occurs whereby damage or injury is caused to any person, vehicle, animal or thing, take down and keep a written note of the names and addresses of any passengers in his vehicle and of any witnesses of the accident and produce such note for inspection when called upon to do so by any police officer or see that the driver of his vehicle takes down, keeps and produces such note as afore- said; ".
8. Regulation 109 is rescinded.
