His Excellency the Officer Administering the Govern- ment has been pleased, pursuant to Section 11 (7) of the Compulsory Service Ordinance, 1939, to permit PETER TOD to quit the Hong Kong Defence Reserve, with effect from 9th August, 1940.

In exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Emergency Powers (Colonial Defence) Order in Council, 1939, the Emergency Powers (Colonial Defence) Order in Council, 1940, and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Officer Administering the Govern- ment amends the Regulations for the control of fishing published in the Government Gazette of the 16th February, 1940, as Government Notification No. 182, as follows:-

Amendment.

In regulation 1 (c) under the heading "Tathong Channel" the words "A line joining Cape Collinson and the South West point of Jan Chau are substituted for the words "The Anti-Submarine Boom”.
