His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased, pursuant to Section 11 (7) of the Compul- sory Service Ordinance, 1939, to permit ARTHUR EDWARD JENKINS to quit the Hong Kong Defence Reserve, with effect from 6th August, 1940.
