(1) sub-section (3) is repealed;
(ii) sub-section (4) is renumbered as (3) and the word contained in the first line is repealed.
(1) Sections 2 and 8 are renumbered as 3 and
2 respectively.
(2) Section 2 as renumbered--
(1) paragraph (b)-the words enemy territory are substituted for
an enemy country in the third and the fifth lines;
(ii) paragraph (c) is renumbered as (d) and the following is inserted immediately before it-
(c) Enemy territory means any area which is under the sovereignty of, or in the occupation of, a Power with whom His Majesty is at war, not being an area in the occupation of His Majesty or of a Power allied with His Majesty;
(iii) paragraph (d) as renumbered-the words between His Majesty and the Power exercising sovereignty over, or occupying, the territory are substituted for with the enemy country in the third line;
(iv) the following is added--

“(c) War' means any war after the commencement of this Ordinance between His Majesty and any foreign state."
(3) Section 3 as renumbered, sub-section (5),
paragraph (c)—the word
present in
the second line is repealed.
