WHEREAS provision was made by the Ordinances and Regulations of Hong Kong (1937 edition) Ordinance, 1936, Ordinance No. 51 of 1936, for the preparation of a new edition of the Ordinances and a new edition of the Regulations of the Colony:
AND WHEREAS the Third Volume of the said edition of the
Ordinances of the Colony is now completed and has been published:
AND WHEREAS it is provided in sub-section (2) of section 9 of Ordinance No. 51 of 1936 that each of the volumes containing the Ordinances shall be laid before the Legislative. Council for approval and such approval, if given, shall be notified by proclamation of the Governor :
NOW THEREFORE I, NORMAN LOCKHART SMITH, Com- mander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Officer Administering the Government of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same, do hereby PROCLAIM that the said Third Volume of the said edition of the Ordinances of the Colony was laid before the Legislative Council on the 25th day of July, 1940, and was approved by the said Council.

ORDINANCE No. 21 of 1927. (DOGS).
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Dogs Ordinance, 1927, the Governor in Council amends regulation 19 published as Government Notification No. 694 in the Gazette of 25th November, 1927, as follows:-
Amendment.
The figure and word "10 cents in the second line thereof are rescinded and the figure and word 15 cents' are substituted therefor.
