APPOINTMENTS, &c.

No. 780.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint Mr. GEOFFREY ALTON CRAIG HERKLOTS, Ph.D., M.Sc., F.L.S., Reader in Biology of the University of Hong Kong, to be Director of the Hong Kong Fisheries Research Station, with effect from the 1st July, 1940.

No. 781.-It is hereby notified that Mr. JOHN KEITH BOUSFIELD, M.C., resumed duty as Organizer of the General Group for Essential Services in the Hong Kong Defence Reserve.

No. 782. It is hereby notified that during the absence on leave of Mr. KARSTEN LARSSEN, Consul for Denmark in Hong Kong, Mr. K. NECKELMANN will be in charge of the Danish Consulate.

No. 783 - His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has approved the relinquishment of the appointment of Subadar Major MOHAMED SHAH, Hong Kong Regiment, Hong Kong and Singapore Royal Artillery, as bis Honorary Aide-de-Camp, with effect from 30th June, 1940.

No. 784.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint Subadar Major SULTAN BUX, 5th Anti-Aircraft Regiment, Royal Artillery, to be his Honorary Aide-de-Camp, with effect from 1st July, 1940.

It is hereby notified that SIDNEY ECCLESHALL has been re-assigned from the Key-Posts Group to the Combatant Group in the Hong Kong Defence Reserve under the provisions of the Compulsory Service Ordinance, 1939.
