Order.
In exercise of the powers conferred on him by regulation 15 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, (which relates to photo- graphy and the making of sketches and plans) His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government prescribes the following exemptions-
Any person may have a camera with him-
(1) in the island of Hong Kong, in the area bounded by Tung Lo Wan Road, Tai Hang Road, Bowen Road, Garden Road to Robinson Road to Park Road, Bonham Road, Western Street, and Connaught Road;
(2) In Kowloon, in the area bounded by Chatham Road, Ma Tau Wai Road, Tam Kung Road and Prince Edward Road to the sea-front and its western extremity;
(3) On the Star Ferry or the Hong Kong and Yaumati Ferry on direct routes between Hong Kong and Kowloon : Provided that nothing in this exemption shall authorize any person to take a photograph while travelling on any of the said ferries;
(4) elsewhere, by written permission of the Chief Security Officer.
