Order.
WHEREAS 1. NORMAN LOCKHART Smith. Esquire. Com- panion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George. Officer Administering the Colony of Hong Kong and it Dependencies, deem it expedient to exercise the powers conferred en me by regulation 46 of the Defence Regulations, 1939, published in Government Notification 737 in the Gazette Extraordinary No. 44 of 2nd September, 1939 :
Now I the said Officer Administering the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies, by virtue of the powers in that behalf vested in me by that regulation. DO HEREBY ORDER as follows:
1. No person shall ship from the Colony, for use by the ship. any ship's stores, deck or engine stores, without a licence in writing from the Controller of Trade, or any quantity of such stores in excess of the quantity (if any) authorized in such permit.
2. This Order may be cited as the Defence (Ship's Stores) Order, 1940,
