Order.
In exercise of the powers conferred by regulation 4 of the Defence (Finance) Regulations. 1940, and by regulation 91 of the Defence Regulations, 1989, Ilis Excellency the Governor hereby revokes the Order made under regulation SA of the Defence (Finance) Regulations. 1939, and publish- ed as Government Notification 799 in the Gazette of 15th September. 1939, and substitutes the following therefor
1. No British subject shall. except with permission granted by or on behalf of the Governor, sell, transfer, or do anything which involves the creation of a charge on, securities the principal, interest or dividends of which are payable in the currencies of Canada, the United States of America, the Argentine. Belgium. France. Holland and the Netherlands East Indies, Norway, Sweden or Switzerland. or in respect of which the holder has an option to require the payment of principal, interest or dividends in the currency of any of those countries.

2. Every British subject being the owner securities referred to in paragraph 1 of this Order shall, within twenty-one days of the date of this Order. make a return to the Financial Secretary setting out the particulars of all such securities and the place or places in which they are held: Provided that in the case of any person who is absent from the Colony at the date of this Order, the return may be made at any time within twenty-one days of his return to the Colony : Provided also that it shall not be necessary for any person who has made a return relating to any security under the Order revoked by this Order again to make a return under this Order in respect of that security.
