Order.

In exercise of the powers conferred on me by regulation 50 of the Defence Regulations, 1939, with the consent of His Excellency the Governor, I. the Controller of Trade, make the following order:

Except under and in accordance with the terms and subject to the conditions of a licence in writing of the Con- troller of Trade, no person shall import into the Colony any

Radio receiving sets.

For the purpose of this order motor vehicle includes an engine or chassis of a vehicle if imported separately.

Provided however that this order shall not apply to any of the above-mentioned articles where-

(a) such articles are consigned to some place outside the Colony and in transitu on any vessel as bonâ fide cargo and entered on the manifest; and

(b) such articles are carried on in the importing ship or are transhipped from one vessel to another with or without landing thereof in either ease; and

(c) in ease of such transhipment, the articles, if reason- ably capable of being packed, are in unbroken packages; and

(d) in case such articles are carried on in the importing ship as aforesaid, notice thereof, together with particulars of the articles, is given to the Controller of Trade at a reason- able time before the departure of such ship: and

(e) in case such articles are transhipped as aforesaid, notice thereof, together with particulars of the articles, is given to the Controller of Trade at a reasonable time before the transhipment.
