No. 390.-His Majesty the KING has been pleased to approve the appointment of the Honourable Mr. STANLEY HUDSON DODWELL to be an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council for a further period of four years, with effect from the 6th April, 1940.

No. 391.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under the provisions of Statute 7 of the Second Schedule of the University Ordinance. 1911, Ordinance No. 10 of 1911, to nominate Mr. DAVID DRUMMOND and Mr. FRANCIS JOHN DE ROME, M.B.E., as Members of the Court of the University of Hong Kong for a further period of three years, with effect from 5th April, 1940.

No. 392.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under Regulation No. 1 made by the Governor in Council under section 4 of the Nurses Registration Ordinance, 1931, Ordinance No. 1 of 1931, to appoint Dr. HUA TSE-JEN() to be a Member of the Nurses Board for a period of three years, with effect from 1st April, 1940, vice Dr. AGNES LILIAS JENKINS DOVEY, resigned.

With reference to Government Notification No. 88 of 9th February, 1934, His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. EDMUND COLLIN LUSCOMBE to be a Member of the Committee to administer the Mercantile Marine Assistance Fund of Hong Kong, vice Mr. HENRY WYLDE EDWARDS HEATH, with effect from the 1st April, 1940.
