spaces over which or the holds in which the cylinders are stowed,
(d) any containers containing any dangerous goods of Category 3, Category 4 (Class 1), Category 5, Category 6, or Category 7 are of substantial construction,
(e) cases or drums are used to contain any dangerous goods of Category 4 (Class 2).
(2) Paragraph (1) of this regulation shall not apply to passenger vessels employed on voyages between the continent of Asia and other continents, which provide adequate protec- tion of passengers by the stowage of dangerous goods in special holds or magazines, nor to coastal vessels carrying dangerous goods stored in a special magazine or compartment built to Board of Trade specification and passed by the Harbour Master.
