No. 147. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. JOHN BERNARD PRENTIS to be Deputy Registrar, Supreme Court and Deputy Registrar of Companies in addition to his other duties, with effect from 10th February, 1940.

No. 148.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under the provisions of Statute 7 of the Second Schedule of the University Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 10 of 1911, to nominate Mr. BENJAMIN WONG TAPE as a Member of the Court of the University of Hong Kong for a further period of three years, with effect from Sth December, 1939.

No. 149.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under the provisions of Statute 7 of the Second Schedule of the University Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 10 of 1911, to nominate Mr. GASTON PACROS DE MARTIN, M.B.E., as a Member of the Court of the University of Hong Kong for a further period of three years, with effect from 22nd December, 1939.

No. 150.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under the provisions of Statute 7 of the Second Schedule of the University Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 10 of 1911, to nominate Mr. Ts'o SEEN-WAN, C.B.E., LL.D., as a Member of the Court of the University of Hong Kong for a further period of three years, with effect from 27th January, 1940.

His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under the provisions of Statute 7 of the Second Schedule of the University Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 10 of 1911, to nominate Mr. CHARLES COLLINGWOOD ROBERTS as a Member of the Court of the University of Hong Kong vice Mr. WALTER HEATHCOTE LOCK, for a period of three years, with effect from the 30th January, 1940.

No. 152.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under the provisions of Statute 7 of the Second Schedule of the University Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 10 of 1911, to nominate Mr. CHAU TSUN-NIN, CB.E, as a Member of the Court of the University of Hong Kong vice the late Mr. SUM PAK-MING, for a period of three years, with effect from the 30th January, 1910.
