No. 65.—Ilis Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under instructions from the Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies, to appoint Mr. GEOFFREY SHERVILL COXHEAD, B.Sc., to be a Master, Education Department, with effect from 16th January, 1940.

No. 66. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under instructions from the Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies, to appoint Mr. SYDNEY GEORGE DAVIS, B.Sc., to be a Master, Education Department, with effect from 16th January, 1940.

No. 67. It is hereby notified that Government Notification No. 238, published in the Gazette of 31st March, 1939 and Nos. 666, 667, 668 and 669, published in the Gazette of 18th August, 1939, are cancelled and the following substituted :-

1. Mr. CLIFFORD GEORGE SOLLIS, M.A. (Oxon.), to be Director of Education,

with effect from 29th November, 1938.

2. Mr. WILLIAM LUCAS HANDYSIDE, M.A., B.Sc., to be a Senior Inspector of

Schools, with effect from 29th November, 1938.

3. Mr. GEORGE EDGAR SKYNNER UPSDELL, M.A., to be Principal, Central British

School, with effect from 1st January, 1939.

4. Mr. DAVID MORGAN RICHARDS, B.A., to be a Senior Master, Education Depart-

ment, with effect from 29th November, 1938.

5. Mr. GEORGE WALKER REEVE, B.A., to be a Senior Master, Education Depart-

ment, with effect from 1st January, 1939.

No. 68.-llis Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. BRIAN CHARLES KEITH HAWKINS to be attached to the Imports and Exports Uffice for special duties, with effect from 16th January, 1940.

No. 69. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. DAVID LOIE to be a Government Chemist for the purpose of the Adulterated Food and Drugs Ordinance, No. 8 of 1935, and for the purpose of the Pharmacy and Poisons Ordinance, No. 8 of 1937.
