ORDINANCE No. 1 of 1932. (JUVENILE OFFENDERS).
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20 (3) of the Juvenile Offenders Ordinance, 1932, the Governor orders that the following rules for the visitation of places of detention shall come into operation on the eighth day of January, 1940.
Rules.
1. These Rules may be cited as the Juvenile Offenders (Visitation of Places of Detention) Rules. 1939.
2. The following persons are hereby appointed visitors of places of detention.
(a) Justices of the Peace.
(b) Such other persons as may be appointed by the Governor.

The following is published for general information:--
1. Under The Export of Goods (Prohibition) (No. 2) Order 1939, Amendment (No. 11) Order 1939 dated November 8th, 1939, the following articles of food and drink are prohibited to be exported from the United Kingdom except under the authority of a licence granted by the Board of Trade-
(i) Grain and flour and products of the milling, and allied industries, not including the following exceptions-
Macaroni, spaghetti and vermicelli
Oat products for use as food
Pearled barley, including blocked, flaked, puffed and
pot barley
Farinaceous substances for use as food
Cereal breakfast foods and similar cereal preparations Dried, beans, lentils (including split lentils) and
dried peas.
(ii) Meat, not including the following exceptions—
Game, dead, fresh chilled or frozen
Meat extracts and essences
Poultry pastes and meat pastes.
