No. S. 464.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for making Uniforms", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 12th day of December, 1938, for the supply and making up of uniform for the use of various Government Departments from 1st January, 1939 to 31st December, 1939.
Tenderers must produce a receipt that they have deposited with the Accountant- General the sum of $200 as a pledge of the bona fides of their tender, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if any tenderer fails or refuses to carry out his tender, should such tender be accepted.
The successful tenderer will be required to sign a formal contract and to give security in the sum of $1,000 in cash to be deposited with the Accountant-General for the due and faithful performance of the terms of such contract.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
Forms of tender and further particulars may be obtained at the Office of the Con- troller of Stores.

No. S. 465.-It is hereby notified that the following Sale of Crown Land by Public Auction will be held at the District Office, South, Queen's Building, 2nd floor, Hong Kong, at 11 a.m., on Friday, the 9th day of December, 1938.
The Lot is sold for the term of Seventy-five years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years less the last 3 days at a re-assessed Crown Rent as a Building Lot for Kerosene Store purpose, subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification No. 364 of 1934, and to Special Condition No. 2 (a) and (b), and Special Conditions hereunder specified.
