No. S. 356.—It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Repairs and Additions to Quay Wall at North Point", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 26th day of September, 1938.
The work comprises the taking down and rebuilding of the existing Quay Wall for a length of 225 feet, extending the wall for a length of 125 feet and raising the existing portion to the level of 12.5 Chart Datum, and contingent works.

NOTICE OF FIRING PRACTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DEFENCES (FIRING AREAS) ORDINANCE, 1936.
Firing practice will be carried out from MOUNT DAVIS between the hours of 9.30 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. on 21st, 22nd and 23rd September, 1938.
Firing Area "D" will be affected.
In accordance with sub-section 4 of section 4 of the Defences (Firing Areas) Ordinance, 1936, masters of vessels and pilots of aircraft exempt from the operation of this Ordinance under section 10, are warned to assist in the carrying out of the firing practice by hastening through the firing area affected, or by consenting to be towed out of the firing area, if necessary, by any vessel acting under the orders of the Military Authorities.
